Sundry
Memorial Service
A brief memorial service was held to mark the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some pictures of the service are below.
The National Anthem
The prayer and memorial candle
This is the prayer that was read:
We mourn for them, and all that died with them: their goodness and their courage, the laughter that has been lost. The world has become a poorer place without them, and our hearst grow cold as we think of what might have been.
We stand in gratitude for the sacrifices they each made. They are like candles that shine out in the darkness of these last two years
We also think of all those who have suffered in other ways, as well as the families that have been forced apart.
May such times soon come to an end, and never be repeated. In our fight against tyranny and cruelty, their memory gives us strength and leads us on.
In silence we remember them.
