Ukraine Rising

A leading UK pianist, Margaret Fingerhut, has created a video set around a stirring piano piece by the Ukrainian composer Sergei Bortkiewicz, whose music is inspired by the mountain scenery in Crimea.

There are several ways you can support Ukraine.

 Non-monetary Donations

• The United Reform Church in Maidenhead spearheads a campain to donate clothes, food, personal care and children's items which they drive to Ukraine.

Events

Ukrainian Independence Day

An Independence Day event was held on 24 August. Over 150 people came together to assert their Ukrainian identity, to offer tangible support to the troops back home and to share their amazing heritage with local people who live in and around Maidenhead.
