Week 1
Allow your guests time to rest
Collect a sim card
Three offers a solution which can be collected from instore by showing a Ukrainian Passport. Vodafone offers a solution which we should soon have available for our guests.
Collect £200 pp from Town Hall
Set up a bank account
Apply for a National Insurance number. To apply, click here
Apply for universal credit once the bank account is opened. To apply, click here
Register at doctors and a dentist and apply for Coronavirus vaccinations
Apply for a school place
Arrange a welfare visit from the Council
Direct your guests to the support available to them in the community
Week 2
Allow your guests time to rest
Apply for an advantage card at the library
Apply for a bus pass
Consider practicalities around school places etc (uniform, travel)
Apply for a biometric resident permit (BRP) to extend the period your guests can stay from 6 months to 3 years. To apply, click here
